Three possible ways WWE can book CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins match at SummerSlam 2024

CM Punk, Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins are having bad blood against each other!

CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins are three of the WWE’s biggest and most egoistic stars. Ever since the return of Punk at Survivor Series 2023, Rollins & McIntyre have been teasing having problems with him. Punk vs Rollins for the world championship was on the card at WrestleMania XL, earlier this year, however, the match got scrapped due to Punk’s injury. This made McIntyre steal the spot and take credit for injuring Punk and taking his spot at WrestleMania.

Although it was teased as a trio feud, McIntyre and Punk took it too far, by making it personal, despite the injuries and hiatus. At Money in the Bank, the story again came under the triangle, with Punk responsible for Rollins & McIntyre’s world title loss. At this stage, here we take a look at three possible ways WWE can book the match for the triangular feud between Punk, McIntyre and Rollins.

3. One after another

Since both Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins are having beef against Punk, they could settle things one by one. CM Punk can try to settle things with Drew McIntyre first at SummerSlam and can come to Rollins in the upcoming PLE, potentially at Bad Blood. However, McIntyre and Rollins need to agree on who wants to have their hands on Punk first.

2. Winner faces Punk at Bad Blood

Although most of them are expecting Punk vs McIntyre, after Punk gets cleared, Rollins confronts Punk at the MITB fallout episode of Raw and tells him right on the face, that after Punk gets cleared to compete, he will have his hands on Punk before McIntyre and make him sit in the bench again.

As both Rollins and McIntyre are thirsty to taste Punk’s blood, they can sort it out with a singles match at SummerSlam 2024, where the winner can go on to face Punk first at Bad Blood 2024. This could also give Punk an additional time to recover and come back with the 100% health condition.

1. Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam 2024

WWE can book a triple-threat match between Rollins, McIntyre & Punk at SummerSlam 2024, as all three are having issues with each other. The triple threat rules could also allow them to go extreme against each other, as the match automatically goes under no-disqualification stipulations. However, this potential match won’t settle things between them, but paves the way for future matches.
