What did The Rock say to Cody Rhodes on RAW ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40?

The Rock has been in a great rivalry with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, after aligning himself with The Bloodline. Roman Reigns and The Rock will face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on night 1 of WrestleMania 40, which decides the rules for the Night 2 main event for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Ahead of their match at Mania, Rock has been cutting promos on a regular basis on TV shows and online. Although they appear on different brands they didn’t have much face-off and direct messages to others. However Rock recently appeared on Raw and whispered in the ears of Cody Rhodes.

What did The Rock whisper to Cody Rhodes?

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes kicked-off the show, addressing what Roman Reigns said about him in the Pat McAfee Show. Roman said that Cody is a politician, who doesn’t keep promises, but Cody claims that he is 100% in keeping his promises.

Cody went on to say that he will beat The Rock & Roman Reigns with the help of WWE Universe. However The Rock made his return to Raw, one week prior to the announced date. Rock confronted Cody, he had his hands back and whispered something in the ears of Cody, that made Cody go stunned.

The Rock was asked backstage about what he whispered in Cody’s ears, but he directed him to Cody.

Half way through the show, New Day, DIY and Awesome Truth were backstage, where Drew McIntyre had a discussion with Paul Heyman behind them.

Cody then was asked about that, which he didn’t answer directly, but he hinted saying that it was the promise that The Rock cannot keep.

During the main event match between Jey Uso & Shinsuke Nakamura, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso interfered, where Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes came to counter them. Cody took Jimmy backstage, where Seth sent Solo to the audience side. When Seth tried to chase him, Drew came from nowhere to attack Seth with a Future Shock DDT. Which seems to be the prior plan discussed with Heyman backstage.

Cody on the backstage, took down Jimmy and Sikoa single handedly, however The Rock attacked him from the back and assaulted him with the trash cans, tools box, barricade and took him outside the stadium into the rain. Rock tore Cody’s shirt and drove his head first to the promotional bus, banging his head to break open.

Rock eventually took the weight belt in his hands and stood with his promise, which he gave to Mamma Rhodes on SmackDown. He made the weight belt fill with Cody’s blood and cut a promo against Momma Rhodes to finish the segment.

It seems like Rock whispered to Cody related to this and a fan noted that Rock’s mouth matches with “Today, am gonna make you bleed”.
