Minimum salary of a WWE Superstar
Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that the minimum fixed salary of a WWE Superstar in the main roster is $350,000 USD per year. Meltzer wrote, “The current main roster minimum salary is $350,000 per year.” It is important to note that the minimum salary scale has been raised from $250,000 USD to $350,000 after the TKO Group Holdings takeover.
Wrestlers also get an additional pay based on their appearance in the weekly shows, live events and in the PLEs. They also generate funds from selling merchandise in WWE Shop, based on the popularity and influence of the wrestler.
On the other hand, based on Dave Meltzer’s old report NXT Stars minimum base salary is approximately $50,000 to $60,000 USD per year. However some major stars returning to NXT roster get paid high.
