Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE programming since May

The seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch has been missed by WWE fans around the world. The Man has been absent from WWE programming since May this year.

Lynch’s contract with the Stamford-based promotion expired and she is currently a free agent. The Women’s Grand Slam Champion came from the streets of Dublin and transformed herself to become one of the biggest stars in the promotion.

Lynch has been the flagbearer of the women’s revolution in WWE. However, as mentioned above her contract with the company ran out at the end of May, earlier this year. The grand slam champion chose not to renew a deal with her employer at the time.

Since her absence, WWE fans have been hoping for her return to the Stamford-based promotion. It seems like the wait for fans is over as The Man will be coming back around to WWE Raw as per recent reports.

Becky Lynch is likely to make her return to WWE by the premiere of Raw on Netflix

As per recent reports from PWInsider, Lynch is expected to be “back in the mix” when Raw premieres on Netflix in January 2025. Although it’s unclear if an official deal has been finalized, it appears that at least one side is close to finalizing an agreement.

“Sources within WWE and Netflix have stated that Lynch is expected to be back in the mix with the company at the beginning of next year,” the report states.

The Stamford-based promotion is all set for WWE Monday Night Raw‘s debut on the streaming platform Netflix. The debut is scheduled for early 2025 exclusively on the streaming platform. In January 2024, the promotion announced a ten-year deal to sell its flagship weekly program, WWE Raw to the world’s leading entertainment service, for a staggering amount exceeding $5 billion USD.

Beginning in January 2025, the streaming giant will become the exclusive home of WWE’s Red brand in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Latin America, and additional regions, with more countries expected to be added in the future.

The Stamford-based promotion has huge plans in store for its debut on the streaming giant platform. As per rumors ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns is heading to the Red brand next year.

The debut of Raw on Netflix is anticipated to showcase some of WWE’s biggest stars, including John Cena and The Rock. Bringing “The Man” back to the WWE Women’s division would only add to the excitement and make the event even more spectacular.
