‘The Second City Saint’ will battle in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41!

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk is set to battle Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. The 41st edition of WrestleMania is scheduled to take place over two nights on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA.

The 41st edition of the PLE is the second WrestleMania to take place in the Las Vegas area. The grandest stage will feature stars from both the Raw and SmackDown brands of the Stamford-based promotion. Additionally, the PLE will be the first Mania to stream on Netflix (except the US).

Punk will also realise his dream of headlining the ‘Grandest Stage’ as the triple-threat match will main event night one of the PLE, while the Undisputed WWE title clash between Cody Rhodes and John Cena is the main event for night two of the PLE.

The three stars already have a complex and deep animosity between them, and Punk’s revealing the favor which Paul Heyman owed him has made things even more complicated. Reigns’ Wiseman, Paul Heyman, has decided to follow through on the favor he granted and will be in Punk’s corner at the PLE.

Living Colour last performed ‘Cult of Personality’ at WrestleMania in 2013

It took over ten years for CM Punk’s signature theme music, Cult of Personality, to be heard again in WWE, as ‘The Best in the World’ departed the business in January 2014 and returned at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event in November 2023.

American Rock Band, Living Colour are set to perform at Fremont Street tomorrow night, which has sparked speculation among fans that the band might once again perform Punk’s entrance live for his first-ever WrestleMania main event.

According to a report from PWInsider, sources believe the timing of the performance is not just a coincidence, strongly suggesting that Living Colour is indeed in Vegas to play Punk’s entrance. It’s reportedly “99.9% expected” to happen.

The 41st edition of the premium live event marks Punk’s first WrestleMania appearance since his return, with his last appearance taking place at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. This was also the time when Living Colour performed for the Second City Saint.

Punk battled the Undertaker in a singles match at the 29th edition, however, he was unable to defeat the Deadman, who kept his undefeated streak going until it was later shattered by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30.
