CM Punk’s return to WWE television has been eagerly anticipated by fans since his cryptic message on RAW after his victory over Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood on October 5.

After the brutal Hell in a Cell match, Punk addressed the audience, stating he wasn’t sure when he’d be back. This left many wondering when “The Second City Saint” would reappear.

According to Fightful Select, Punk’s return wasn’t planned for Crown Jewel on November 4, and fans should not expect to see him until the November 11 episode of WWE RAW at the earliest.

However, the possibility of an unexpected appearance on SmackDown remains, adding intrigue to his next move.

CM Punk could return to begin his rivalry with Seth Rollins

Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts shared insights on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, predicting that Punk’s return could involve a major storyline with Seth Rollins.

The two had a tense staredown on the October 7 edition of RAW, fueling speculation about an impending clash. Roberts believes a feud between CM Punk and Seth Rollins would be compelling and unique, especially if WWE avoids a full heel turn for Rollins, which would make the dynamic feel fresh.

Roberts explained that Seth Rollins wouldn’t need a drastic character shift for this rivalry to resonate with fans. Instead, he expects Rollins to stay edgy, letting fans decide whom to cheer for in a battle of two strong personalities.

“Punk’s not getting booed… Seth doesn’t care,” Roberts noted, alluding to the unpredictable nature of the potential feud and its appeal to WWE’s fanbase. He suggested that this approach could avoid the intensity of Punk’s recent storyline with McIntyre, where McIntyre was fully committed to a villainous role, creating a unique dynamic for Rollins and Punk.

Meanwhile, Rollins continues to stay active on WWE programming, facing challengers like Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel. Reed has promised to bring everything he has against “The Visionary,” but many fans are looking beyond Crown Jewel to what lies ahead for Rollins if he crosses paths with Punk.

As the WWE Universe speculates about a showdown, the timing seems ideal for this feud to carry into WrestleMania season. Punk and Rollins could easily bring out the best in each other.

Their clash could mark one of the most intense rivalries on the Road to WrestleMania XL, making Punk’s eventual return not only highly anticipated but potentially historic. For now, fans will have to wait and see if November 11 will indeed mark the return of CM Punk to WWE television.
