WWE fans don’t want to wait too long for Roman Reigns’ return!

Roman Reigns made his long-awaited WWE return at SummerSlam 2024, making the rumors true. Roman appeared during the Bloodline rules match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa, and attacked Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch & a spear during the mid-match to help Cody retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.

Following that Roman made his return to the blue brand after four months of confronting the new Bloodline. Roman brawled with the Bloodline and tried to take the Ula Fala from Solo Sikoa, but Solo managed to keep it by himself.

The following week (August 16, 2024), Solo called out Roman to fight and take what he wanted. Roman took out the Tongans and Solo Sikoa to wear the Ula Fala, but the returning Jacob Fatu assaulted Roman and gave the Ula Fala back to Solo.

Roman was not seen on WWE TV since then and there was no update on his return timeline. However, the USA Network officially confirms Roman’s return date. Here we take a look at Roman Reigns’ return date and everything you need to know about his return timeline.

Roman Reigns’ WWE return

The USA Network, which is the new official broadcast partner of Friday Night SmackDown officially announced that The Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns will be making his WWE return next Friday on the September 13, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is SmackDown’s return to the USA Network and the beginning of the season premiere.

WWE previously advertised Roman Reigns for the September 13th show on their official website, but he was removed from the advertising for an unknown reason, which became a big talking point among WWE Universe. Now, USA Network confirmed it and set the hype for the premiere.

As Roman is being announced for the show, Solo Sikoa is set to face Cody Rhodes inside the Steel Cage for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the same show. This creates a huge buzz, making most of them believe that the Original Tribal Chief could cause Solo’s title shot again.

Last time when Roman was in SmackDown, he was taken out by the Bloodline’s number games. Could Roman be able to overcome the numbers game all by himself? Or will he be coming with a backup? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
