Vengeance is one of the old WWE PLE that NXT has recreated, although with a twist. Instead of preserving the original moniker, WWE changed it significantly when it took it over for NXT usage in 2021, calling it Vengeance Day.

It has remained a fixture on the NXT calendar ever since, being the PLE used around Valentine’s Day. That tradition continues in 2025, with the first WWE NXT PLE of the year taking place this weekend.

Giulia will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade in a Fatal Four-Way Match. The Beautiful Madness dethroned Perez to win the title at New Year’s Evil, and The Prodigy is determined to reclaim it at any costs.

When Perez aired her unhappiness with NXT, former Women’s Champion Bayley came, resulting in a massive battle between the two Superstars.

All three Superstars fought in the 2025 Royal Rumble Match, and Perez set a record by lasting one hour, seven minutes, and 47 seconds, which boosted her confidence ahead of Vengeance Day. Meanwhile, Jade punched her ticket to Vengeance Day by defeating Bayley on February 11, resulting in a Fatal 4-Way Match.

The NXT Championship will be on the line in the nation’s capital as Oba Femi defends his championship against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory in a triple threat match.

On the Jan. 28 edition of NXT’s “The Grayson Waller Effect,” Waller and Theory persuaded the champion to agree to a Triple Threat Match.

Fallon Henley will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, who might be her biggest challenge yet. La Primera debuted in WWE to considerable excitement and has lived up to the expectation by defeating some of NXT’s finest.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against the hard-hitting duo of Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.

Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe are prepared to face off in a vicious Strap Match following weeks of blindside attacks.

After missing out on NXT Championship possibilities, Thorpe unleashed a devastating attack on Williams on the February 4 edition of NXT. Causing Williams to have the match.
