The second edition of 2025 will air from Florida!
The May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to emanate live from the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida. The promotion has announced multiple matches for the show, which features the current Undisputed Champion John Cena.
The May edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will also set the stage for the next PLE of 2025, which is Money in the Bank 2025. The 2025 edition of the PLE is set for June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
John Cena is set to face R-Truth in a non-title match following their recent fallout. After R-Truth saved Cena from Randy Orton’s punt kick at WWE Backlash 2025, Cena repaid him by putting him through a table during the post-show press conference.
Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest are also set to write another chapter in their feud as they clash in Tampa inside a steel cage match. Furthermore, Sami Zayn and CM Punk will team up to battle Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker on the show.
The World Heavyweight title clash will main event of Saturday Night’s Main Event
The World Heavyweight Championship clash between Jey Uso and Logan Paul will headline the May 24 edition of SNME in Tampa, this Saturday. This was announced by Michael Cole on the May 19 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Jey took out Logan during the opening moments of the 05/19 show following Logan’s segment where he cut a promo hyping up the match and was later interrupted by Gunther. However, Paul quickly repaid the favor as he knocked out the Champion for the fourth time in the final moments of the show. The two will now settle their differences inside the squared circle this Saturday.
