The match came to fruition after Cody Rhodes’ months of rivalry with Solo Sikoa over the Undisputed WWE Title. Their latest encounter saw them compete for the title inside a Steel Cage on the premiere episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the USA Network.

Following Rhodes’ win, the other members of the Bloodline attacked him. This led to the return of Roman Reigns, who was taken out by the Bloodline a few weeks prior to help him fend off the attack. Later in the night, Cody Rhodes agreed to team up with The OTC for Bad Blood.

It was announced by The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff that they would be performing Cody Rhodes’ entrance theme at WWE Bad Blood. This would be a spectacular sight to witness alongside Cody’s captivating entrance, which would get a new touch with the performance of UAPBM4.

WWE Bad Blood will take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, October 5. It is expected to be a blockbuster show as WWE looks to revive this classic pay-per-view.
