Drew McIntyre clinched the last spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on RAW.

Drew McIntyre has been the prime example of hard work and perseverance who went from being a mid-card talent to rising as a main event attraction. However, his arch-rival, CM Punk, has constantly ruined his big moments.

After their rivalry began at the 2024 Royal Rumble event, Punk and Drew McIntyre have been engaged in a verbal back-and-forth since then. The Best in the World first assaulted McIntyre after he won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, leading to Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and snatching the title away from him.

Months later, CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre one of the most significant opportunities of his life. At the final moment of his World Title match against Damian Priest in his home country of Scotland, Punk once again screwed him over and took the biggest win of his career away from him.

Mcintyre had been enraged since that night and journeyed over to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, to decimate him in a heinous assault on SmackDown weeks ago.

With CM Punk possibly out of the picture at the moment, Drew McIntyre shifted his focus to the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match at the name-sake PLE. His ambitions now seem even closer following this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The Scottish Warrior defeated Sheamus and the Mad Dragon, Ilja Dragunov, in a triple threat match to clinch the last spot in the match.

Witnessing the rise and fall of McIntyre in recent months, the Money in the Bank ladder match seems to be the perfect opportunity for the former three-time WWE Champion to put an end to his miseries.

Drew McIntyre may have won the big one in front of a live audience but is yet to cherish that moment as a credible champion. After all, this was the same man who carried the global juggernaut on his back during the pandemic era as the World Champion.

Therefore, Mcintyre winning his first Money in the Bank briefcase could possibly earn him the championship that has alluded him for months now.
