Jey Uso has been on a roll as one of the hottest rising stars of Monday Night RAW

Jey Uso has ascended to become one of the most over and popular WWE superstars on the RAW roster today. The Main Event One experienced massive success and attention from fans following his move to RAW last year, when he left The Bloodline to embark on a single run.

Despite Jey Uso’s popularity rising every week, fans and critics alike believe that Jey Uso has not been booked properly by WWE CCO Triple H and his regime. Among them, Jey’s father, Rikishi, has been at the top of the list, constantly advocating for the better push for his son’s ongoing momentum.

Moreover, WWE missed out on huge opportunities to push Jey, like failing to put the World Championship on him in France and, most recently, not booking him to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Why should Jey Uso win the tournament to crown the new No.1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship?

After multiple failed opportunities, Jey has been presented with another huge opportunity on RAW. As announced by the WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker last week on RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce had sanctioned a tournament to determine his next opponent. On the August 26 episode of WWE RAW, two triple-threat matches were scheduled.

One of them pitted Jey Uso vs Karrion Kross vs Kofi Kingston at the show, which saw Jey Uso clinching the win and further advancing in the tournament.

Also, Pete Dunne clinched the win in the other match, with both superstars getting their spots in the final Fatal 4 Way match that will crown the new No.1 contender for Bron Breakker’s title.

There is no denying that Jey Uso‘s fame has been growing by the week. After missing the chance to establish him on multiple occasions this year, Uso winning the tournament could be the best decision for them to capitalize on his rising success and make him one of the cornerstones of Monday Night RAW.

This would cement Jey Uso as a top-tier star while beginning his march toward potentially winning his first singles title.
