CM Punk & Drew McIntyre caused huge buzz at Money in the Bank
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre are two of the biggest egos in WWE, who were carrying their rivalry for a very long time. Both took the rivalry too far, despite injuries and championship aspirations. Punk has been sabotaging Drew’s championship opportunity on a number of occasions, which drove McIntyre go mad and cause trouble.
At Money in the Bank, Punk once again screwed McIntyre’s title match by sneak attacking him. This made McIntyre cause trouble in the post-show, by attacking referees and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Following that McIntyre was escorted out of the building for his actions. At this stage, we take a look at Punk & McIntyre’s status for this week’s Raw.
Drew McIntyre & CM Punk’s status for 7/8 Raw
Following the chaos caused by McIntyre at Money in the Bank PLE, the Raw General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the WWE Universe with a video punishing McIntyre & Punk by fining them & furthermore he suspended McIntyre for an indefinite amount of time for attacking him.
Adam Pearce said,
“The elephant in the room. Everybody saw what happened at Money in the Bank and after. As a result, after careful consideration, I am hereby fining both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre an undisclosed amount for their actions. Furthermore, due to putting his elbow squarely in my teeth, I am hereby officially suspending Drew McIntyre indefinitely. More to come tomorrow night live on Raw.”
McIntyre reacted to the video by retweeting it saying that if Pearce had done his work properly it wouldn’t have happened and took a shot on him.
“If you were doing your job properly you wouldn’t have been caught in the crossfire you incompetent bald b*tch.”
Based on this, it is clear that McIntyre is not expected to be on Raw. However, there are a number of times, McInytre crossed the set borders in the past, making it believe that anything could happen Monday Night. On the other hand, Punk’s status is still unknown, as he is only fined and not suspended. However we need to wait and watch, if we could see Punk on this week’s Raw.
