After Bad Blod 2024 ended WWE universe saw Kevin Owens attacking Cody Rhodes
The American Nightmare was competing in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, in front of a sold-out audience, and the night was shaping up to be a spectacular homecoming. However, when Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, Rhodes was confronted with two unexpected circumstances.
Beginning with the return of The Rock, who glared down both Rhodes and Roman Reigns to finish off the evening, Cody Rhodes was later attacked by Kevin Owens backstage in a confrontation captured on video by fans in attendance. While Triple H has claimed that they are looking into the problem, and the event was only briefly discussed on Raw, fans are still waiting for an answer from either side.
There were rumors that WWE could suspend Kevin Owens for his actions, but nothing is yet confirmed from WWE’s end as Triple H said the matter would be looked into “internally” by WWE. so, could we see Aldis suspending Owens for his actions? Only time will tell but one thing is for sure WWE will definitely address this matter on WWE SmackDown this week.
We would see Roman Reigns returning so, many things will be answered this week on SmackDown. Roman Reigns would have his say on The Rock’s return while Aldis will let the WWE universe know what will be Kevin Owens’s future with WWE.
Recently, it came to light that Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is all set to expire. However, many wrestling insiders believe that Owens loves his work in WWE and he will continue to stay with WWE. So, we can hope Kevin Owens is here to stay with WWE.

Cody Rhodes addressed Kevin Owens attacking him after WWE Bad Blood 2024
While chatting with Ramazani Mwamba of Manchester Evening News ahead of the city’s forthcoming live event, Cody Rhodes was asked about the attack.
Cody said, “I’d be foolish to try and tell you anything different because the entire video exists online and you can see every inch of it. I’ll try and keep my remarks short in terms of how I feel but I will tell you this.”
“It’s a very passionate industry, everybody wants the north star of our business which is the WWE championship and the championship that I hold at this time. I don’t know if you’ll see this unfold on screens, on Smackdown, on Raw or when we come overseas.”
“Pro Wrestling and sports entertainment tends to like dive into that. Perhaps it does, or perhaps its dealt internally. I overall, I did feel very happy about my match at Bad Blood. I was happy for the city of Atlanta, that being the city that raised me.”
“Everything happened and appeared and I was happy for Atlanta and the WWE because it feels like the road to Wrestlemania started early this year.”
