Paul Heyman was viciously assaulted by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline on SmackDown last week.

The landscape of Friday Night SmackDown has been completely altered with the events in recent memory. The festivities began last week, and The Bloodline’s strength grew drastically with the shocking debut of Jacob Fatu on the blue brand.

The Samoan Werewolf’s first appearance was a sight to witness as he single-handedly decimated Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Following the aftermath, he pledged his allegiance to Solo Sikoa and his crew, which consisted of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the Wiseman Paul Heyman.

However, this week saw a shocker as The Bloodline took a tough decision that has changed the dynamics of SmackDown forever. This week’s SmackDown kicked off with a huge brawl between The Bloodline and their opponents for WWE Money in the Bank PLE, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. Later on in the night, the scheduled Bloodline Ceremony saw the official induction of Jacob Fatu into the stable.

Paul Heyman won’t be seen for some time

During the segment, Solo Sikoa ordered all members to acknowledge him as their ‘Tribal Chief.’ Right after, he ordered Heyman, who was visibly in tears, to do so. In a shocking turn of events, Paul Heyman refused to obey Solo’s orders. Enraged by his actions, Solo Sikoa attacked Paul Heyman, followed by a flying headbutt by Jacob Fatu and a triple powerbomb on the announcer’s desk to end the show.

Witnessing that, it seems Paul Heyman would be kept off television for an extended absence. In the meantime, WWE could build up the Bloodline storyline, first by costing Jey Uso the Money in the Bank ladder match and possibly bringing back Jimmy Uso who could also return to save his twin.

Furthermore, after a few months of feud, Paul Heyman could re-emerge back to WWE television programming. But his return would not be alone as he would present the world with the grand comeback of the real “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. The return of The Head of the Table with his Wiseman could set the tone for Bloodline Civil War for possibly SummerSlam, with the OG faction, Roman Reigns and The Usos going up against Solo Sikoa and his stable.
