Will Roman Reigns appear on August 9 episode of WWE SmackDown?

WWE SummerSlam 2024 concluded with a bang this weekend, as former WWE Undisputed Champion The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, made his long-awaited return to WWE for the first time since losing his WWE Undisputed Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

Roman Reigns reappeared during the main event match between self-proclaimed Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa and The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, for the WWE Undisputed Championship when Solo Sikoa was only three counts away from claiming his new title.

Roman Reigns, the OTC, entered the ring and delivered a tremendous Superman blow to Solo Sikoa. He followed it with an incredible spear that most likely shattered his body in half. Taking advantage of this, Cody Rhodes hit CrossRhodes, and pinned Sikoa to keep his championship.

Roman Reigns, the Head of the Table, has clearly shown what comes next for him. He is pursuing Solo Sikoa and New Bloodline for the position of Tribal Chief. WWE fans are wondering whether Roman Reigns will appear on the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown and if he will address WWE fans about his behaviour at SummerSlam 2024.

The answer is yes; WWE has officially confirmed that Roman Reigns will return to Friday Night SmackDown for the first time since losing the WWE Undisputed Championship. The next Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled to take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It appears like Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns will square off for the first time on this Friday’s SmackDown, opening off the Blood War. It’ll be intriguing to see how WWE books Roman Reigns throughout the Bloodline Civil War narrative, as well as how many unexpected twists and turns the event will take.
