Will Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes team up against The Bloodline?: WWE Rumors

Both Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes have a long history together!
Roman Reigns made his long-awaited WWE return at SummerSlam 2024, making the rumors true. Roman appeared during the Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa, and had a great reception from the WWE universe.
Reigns wasted no time, as he ran to the ring and attacked Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch & a Spear. Roman then had a look at Cody and left the ring to stand on the ramp, leaving the ring for Cody to finish his match. Cody used Roman’s assistance to deliver the final Cross Rhodes on Solo to win the match and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Following that Roman appeared on the August 9, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown, where Roman confronted Solo Sikoa and got involved in a brawl with the new Bloodline. The Original Tribal Chief took The Bloodline all by himself and stood tall. Although Roman took all by himself on SmackDown, the numbers game is still a major advantage, which could take Roman Reigns out any time.
At this stage, here we take a look at the possibilities of Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes teaming up to face the Bloodline.
Both have beef with The Bloodline
Both Roman & Cody have an issue with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline, where Roman fights for taking his Tribal Chief status and The Bloodline from him & Cody fights for Bloodline’s brutal assault on his friends. To avoid Roman from being assaulted by the Bloodline, like how they did to his friends, Cody could team up with Roman to take on The Bloodline.
Cody Rhodes needs to return the favor
At SummerSlam 2024, Roman helped Cody to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship and Cody himself has revealed that if it was not Roman, he might not be the champion after the match. Cody on the other hand has been returning favors for the people who helped him on the journey as a sign of respect and love. Since Roman helped Cody at SummerSlam, Cody might help Roman to handle The Bloodline, by teaming up with Roman for a match, potentially at Bad Blood.
Cody Rhodes acknowledges Roman Reigns
In Roman’s absence, Cody acknowledged Roman as the Tribal Chief and failed to do the same to Solo Sikoa. Cody on several occasions revealed that he has great respect for Roman. Since Roman is the babyface and Cody is the man of babyfaces, Cody could have the back of Roman. If Jey Uso and Sami Zayn potentially backed up Roman in the future, there is no doubt that Cody will stand for his boys, who always had his back.
