There are rumors on Roman Reigns’ potential return at WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns went on a long hiatus after losing his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. In the absence of Roman, Solo Sikoa took full control of the Bloodline. Solo re-established a new version of the Bloodline, by kicking Jimmy Uso & Paul Heyman out and recruiting new members including Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Jacob Fatu. With the help of the new mates, Solo claimed himself as the new Tribal Chief.

Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa set for SummerSlam 2024

Solo Sikoa, with the help of new Bloodline members, is more dangerous than ever before and has been turning everything in their favor himself. The new Bloodline is currently on a mission to acquire gold for the faction and they clinched their first major gold on SmackDown, as Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu won the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Following the first major title win for the new Bloodline, The Tribal Chief himself will be in action at SummerSlam to bring the Undisputed WWE Championship back into The Bloodline when he faces Cody Rhodes in the Bloodline rules match.

Although Cody has already won a Bloodline Rules match in the past, things are not the same with the new Bloodline. Since Randy Orton & Kevin Owens are already taken out, there is no one to help Cody this time. As everything is in favor of Solo, here we take a look at whether Roman Reigns will make his return to help Rhodes retain his title.

Roman Reigns to help Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024?

There have been several backstage rumors about Roman Reigns potentially making his return at the SummerSlam PLE. It is believed that Roman Reigns will be making his return during the Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa’s Undisputed WWE Championship Bloodline rules match and will cost Sikoa’s championship opportunity. There are a number of reasons that Roman’s return could be to punish Solo.

Solo looted his faction and Tribal Chief status using false claims. He kicked out the two big pillars of the Bloodline- Jimmy Uso & Paul Heyman. Solo also took a turn against Roman, when he called him the weak leader. Considering all these, there is a high chance that Roman could attack Solo on his return, which could favor Cody to retain his championship.

As of now, there is no official information on Roman’s WWE return and everything is being speculation. However, if Roman makes his return at the biggest party of summer, it would be in favor of Cody than Solo.
