Seth Rollins wants to challenge Bronson Reed
‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins made his WWE return two weeks ago on RAW. He was recovering from the injury caused by Bronson Reed. Reed landed six tsunami splashes on Rollins that caused the injury.
The Visionary returned on the September 30 episode of Monday Night RAW during The Last Monster Standing match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. Rollins’ interference cost Reed the match against Strowman.
Seth Rollins also suffered a knee injury earlier during his fight with Jinder Mahal on an episode of Raw in January. This injury forced him out of action till Wrestlemania 40.
On this week’s episode of RAW despite recovering from the injury Rollins demanded a match with Reed. During a backstage conversation with the RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, The Visionary demanded to fight Reed as he wanted to settle the score with Reed.
Seth Rollins is set for an in-ring return this week
The former WWE Heavyweight Champion has not been in action since July. He last fought Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank 2024 PLE.
According to recent reports, it has been confirmed that Rollins will be present on this week’s SmackDown. WWE fans were speculating he to fight Reed in his in-ring return given their history.
The Visionary is scheduled to fight Dominik Mysterio on the 25 October episode of SmackDown. The event is set to take place at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York.
Rollins confirmed the news of his in-ring return by sharing it on his Instagram story. He wrote, “First match back. Let’s ride.”
However, Rollins’s match against Dominik Mysterio will be a dark match. A Dark match is a non-televised match that takes place before or after a televised show.
Although Rollins will be backstage on this week’s episode of SmackDown he likely will not be making an appearance during the live telecast.
