The Rock has not been seen on WWE television programming since the RAW after WrestleMania 40.

The Rock is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most captivating WWE superstars of all time. The Great One came back to WWE television programming at the start of 2024 to become a part of the road to WrestleMania 40.

As the road progressed, The Rock turned heel, donning the persona of ‘The Final Boss’ following the fans siding with Cody Rhodes in his quest to ‘Finish The Story.’

Despite his best efforts and even pinning Cody Rhodes in a tag team match on WrestleMania 40 Night 1, The Rock failed to keep him away from his destiny. As WrestleMania 40 Night 2 concluded, The Rock’s cousin Roman Reigns was defeated by Rhodes, losing his Undisputed WWE Championship in the process.

The Rock’s last appearance came at the RAW after WrestleMania 40, sharing the ring with the new champion, Cody Rhodes and vowing to come back and go right after him. Since then, the landscape of WWE has drastically changed, and recent reports are pointing towards the return of The Final Boss to television programming.

Will The Rock make his return at WWE Bad Blood?

WWE is moving towards its next Premium Live Event, Bad Blood, with the Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline feud being a focal point. However, this time, Rhodes will team up with his arch-nemesis, Roman Reigns, to battle the man who tried to replace Roman Reigns as the new Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa and his personal Enforcer, Jacob Fatu.

Leading up to the event, a new report stated that The Rock could return to WWE in one or two months, leading to fans’ speculation regarding his appearance at WWE Bad Blood.

Considering the speculation and reports, The Rock’s involvement could come around the WWE Survivor Series, an event where he made his WWE debut.

Following WWE Bad Blood, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes can be joined by the members of the OG Bloodline, The Usos and Sami Zayn, which could set up an OG vs New Bloodline match at the WWE Survivor Series. The Rock could be revealed as the mastermind for the new Bloodline that formed after Reigns’ failure at WrestleMania and make his return at Survivor Series to back his faction while planting the seeds for a feud with his cousin, Roman Reigns.
