The Fatal Four Way was a banger

The WWE Universe witnessed absolute mayhem at Backlash 2025 as Jacob Fatu successfully retained his United States Championship in a thrilling fatal four-way match against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. This one had everything: wild brawls, high-flying chaos, shocking betrayals, and a massive debut that could change the WWE landscape.

Right from the bell, all four men exploded into action. Each went straight for their WrestleMania rivals, McIntyre and Priest took it to the outside, while LA Knight wasted no time sending Fatu face-first into the ring post. The early minutes belonged to Knight, who looked dominant and nearly scored a quick pinfall on the champ with a one-count.

Despite their history, Knight and Priest briefly joined forces to neutralize Fatu, sending the Samoan Werewolf crashing outside. That alliance didn’t last long, as McIntyre returned with a vengeance. The Scottish Warrior dished out neckbreakers to both men, hit his signature kip-up, and nearly decapitated Knight, only to eat a spinebuster moments later.

Priest then took over with an impressive stretch, landing a stunning hurricanrana on Fatu that shifted the momentum in his favor. The pace kicked into high gear as McIntyre and Fatu squared off in the middle of the ring. Fatu got the better of the exchange, only to be rocked by Knight’s Blunt Force Trauma.

That led into a breathtaking sequence — Knight got chokeslammed by Priest, who then took a devastating Claymore from McIntyre. But somehow, no one could secure the win.

The chaos cleared momentarily, leaving Knight and McIntyre alone in the ring. Drew hit a thunderous Claymore and looked to have it won, but Damian Priest yanked him out at the last second, screwing him over once again. The two continued their vicious war outside the ring, eventually brawling over the announce table and into the timekeeper’s area.

Back in the ring, Fatu missed a moonsault, and Knight capitalized with back-to-back elbow drops, but the champion kicked out at the very last millisecond. Meanwhile, McIntyre and Priest were beating the hell out of each other in the crowd. Priest managed to gouge Drew’s eyes, freeing himself, and delivered a devastating South of Heaven chokeslam off a production trunk through a table!

With Knight and Fatu the only ones still on their feet, Knight propped Fatu on the announce table, climbing the turnbuckle for a high-risk move. But just then, Solo Sikoa appeared! The Bloodline’s Enforcer stood in Knight’s path, but it was WWE’s newest signing, Jeff Cobb, who delivered the biggest shock of the night by attacking Knight with a brutal beatdown!

This allowed Jacob Fatu to capitalize and retain his U.S. Title, but the post-match moment was telling; Fatu didn’t look pleased. The champ stared down Solo and Cobb, clearly frustrated by their interference. Is the Samoan Werewolf looking to break out on his own?

Winner: Jacob Fatu retains the WWE United States Championship
