WWE Belfast Results: Sheamus returns to action, Cody Rhodes retains, Gunther vs CM Punk & more

The Road to WrestleMania tour arrived in Northern Ireland ahead of WWE Raw!
The Stamford-based promotion kicked off the Europe tour with the March 14 episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain. The tour on the road to WrestleMania features multiple House shows along with Raw and SmackDown episodes.
One such house show concluded in Belfast, Northern Ireland on March 22 ahead of the 03/24 episode of Monday Night Raw in Glasgow, Scottland. Get to know what happened at the Road to WrestleMania show down below.
In the first match of the evening, Rey Mysterio battled Finn Balor who received a huge welcome from the Irish crowd. Mysterio picked up the win after delivering 619 and going for the cover. Charlotte Flair defeated Piper Niven with a combination of Natural Selection, the Figure 8 as Niven tapped out.
‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus also returned to action as he battled Bron Breakker with the Intercontinental title hanging in the balance. Breakker retained the IC title via pinfall after landing a vicious spear. While Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green defeated Michin via pinfall after landing the Unprettier.
Furthermore, WWE World Champion Gunther and CM Punk ended in a Double countout outside the ring, resulting in the match being declared a No Contest. After the match, Punk reentered the ring and hit the champion with the GTS.
WWE World Tag Team Champions, War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) via Pinfall to retain the titles, while Andrade defeated Carmelo Hayes in a singles match. In another tag team action, Braun Strowman and Jimmy Uso defeated the team of Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu.
In the main event of the show, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match, retaining his title by successfully escaping the cage for the win.
