WWE considering modifications for 2025 Hall of Fame Ceremony

The Stamford-based promotion were unhappy with last year’s ceremony

The 2024 edition of the Hall of Fame ceremony was held on April 5, 2024, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event featured the induction of the 25th class into the WWE Hall of Fame and was held a day before WrestleMania 40.

According to a recent report from WrestleVotes, the Stamford-based promotion were unhappy with how the 2024 Hall of Fame ceremony came together. The report also suggests that the promotion is considering changes for the 2025 edition.

“The only thing I can say is they were not happy with how everything happened last year in Philadelphia…in terms of the size of the crowd that was left even a half hour through. Once Paul Heyman was done speaking last year the majority of the crowd left and WWE was not thrilled with that.

I talked to a source that said they couldn’t really blame them because the headliner went first. It’s the start of a very long weekend for a lot of people so if you can get out of there at 10:30 you’re going to take that chance. However, WWE was not thrilled with that so I don’t think they want to do that again. So I know they’re trying to come up with different ways to present everything, I just don’t know what that is yet.”

The promotion earlier used to hold the Hall of Fame event separately but in recent times it has been an add-on to the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown before WrestleMania.

The promotion has yet to announce the 2025 edition of the Hall of Fame ceremony, with the Road to WrestleMania near WWE will likely announce the inductees into the 2025 Hall of Fame class as well as the event details.

The 2025 edition of WWE WrestleMania will take place in Las Vegas

The 41st edition of WrestleMania is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 19 and 20, 2025 at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA. This is the second WrestleMania to take place in the Las Vegas area.

The grandest stage of them all will feature some of the biggest names in the promotion from both its Raw and SmackDown brand.

In addition to the biggest event of the year, the promotion is also scheduled to host several exciting shows during the week. The schedule includes Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Stand & Deliver events along with the Hall of Fame ceremony.
