Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed clashed in Perth!
The roar inside Perth’s RAC Arena was deafening as WWE Crown Jewel 2025 opened spectacularly. From the cinematic “Operation: Crown Jewel” montage to Rhea Ripley’s narration of the opening video, the stage was perfectly set for a blockbuster night.
But no one could have predicted how the night’s biggest shock would unfold, Bronson Reed pinning Roman Reigns in front of his home crowd to secure the biggest win of his career.
Reed, representing The Vision, entered the Aussie Street Fight with Paul Heyman by his side and the full weight of the WWE Universe watching. Reigns, ever the dominant “Tribal Chief,” walked in as the clear favorite, soaking in the chants of “Ro-man! Ro-man!” before the brutality began. The two locked eyes in a tense standoff before chaos erupted.
Roman Reigns controls early
From the opening bell, Roman Reigns unleashed a relentless offense. He battered Reed with right hands, hurled him over the barricade, and even threw a rugby ball at Paul Heyman to the crowd’s amusement.
In a uniquely Australian twist, Reigns pulled out a cricket bat, striking Reed across the back before unloading with a kendo stick. The crowd roared its approval as Reigns raised the stick high, demanding the audience “Acknowledge” him, and they did.
But that moment of arrogance gave Reed just enough time to recover. The Aussie powerhouse retaliated with crushing forearms, only for Reigns to turn the tide again with a devastating Samoan Drop onto a steel chair. Reigns sensed the finish, loading up for a Superman Punch, but Reed had other plans.
The Vision strikes
As Reigns prepared his final assault, chaos erupted when Bron Breakker emerged from the crowd. The Vision’s enforcer delivered a monstrous spear to Reigns at ringside, sending shockwaves through the arena.
Moments later, The Vision swarmed, driving Reigns through the announce table. But help wasn’t far behind, as The Usos stormed in to even the odds.
The melee spilled everywhere. Breakker speared Jimmy Uso through the barricade, while Jey’s attempt to save his cousin backfired. In a moment of pure confusion, Jey accidentally speared Reigns, leaving the Tribal Chief motionless in the ring.
Reed seized the moment, climbing the ropes to deliver a thunderous Tsunami splash that shook the ring and the Perth crowd alike. He hooked the leg, the referee counted three, and the unthinkable happened: Bronson Reed had defeated Roman Reigns.
For the first time in years, Reigns lay beaten in an international main event, while Reed stood tall in his homeland, The Vision celebrating around him. The torch may not have officially been passed, but this night in Perth will go down as the one where Bronson Reed made the world acknowledge him.
Winner: Bronson Reed via pinfall
