LA Knight, Andrade & Carmelo Hayes had one hell of a match at WWE Crown Jewel 2024
During WWE Crown Jewel 2024, the United States Championship was on the line in an exhilarating triple threat match featuring the reigning champion LA Knight, Andrade, and Carmelo Hayes. The match kicked off with an immediate explosion of action as Andrade and Hayes, both known for their fierce rivalry, exchanged heavy right hands while Knight took a backseat, observing the chaos unfold.
As the two adversaries turned their attention to LA Knight, he quickly asserted himself, fighting them off with powerful jabs. However, the combined efforts of Andrade and Hayes proved too much, as they delivered a double superkick that sent Knight crashing to the outside.
With Knight temporarily sidelined, Andrade and Hayes resumed their fierce battle, with Hayes showcasing his athleticism by hitting Andrade with a springboard flying clothesline.
The momentum shifted again when Knight re-entered the fray, pulling Hayes out of the ring and slamming him onto the commentary table before executing a slingshot shoulder tackle onto Andrade. Inside the ring, Knight displayed his prowess with a DDT on Hayes, but Andrade broke up the pin attempt, demonstrating the cutthroat nature of the match.
The high-flying Andrade soon took control, landing a Spanish Fly on Carmelo Hayes and following it up with a moonsault that soared over the ring post onto Knight on the outside. As the action intensified, Knight managed to recover and counter Andrade’s offensive maneuvers.
After a series of near falls and innovative moves, including a standing moonsault from Andrade and a diving double elbow drop from Knight, the crowd erupted, chanting, “This is awesome!”
With all three competitors battling fiercely, Knight and Andrade exchanged big moves. In a moment of drama, Knight slipped while attempting a top rope maneuver but quickly recovered, landing an inverted German Superplex on Andrade. Hayes capitalized on the chaos, delivering his finishing move, “Nothin’ But Net,” but Andrade intervened just in time to break the pin.
As the match neared its climax, Hayes found himself in a precarious position as Knight executed his signature “BFT” (Blessed From The Top) on Hayes, covering him for the pinfall victory.
With this hard-fought win, LA Knight not only retained his United States Championship but also solidified his status as a top competitor in WWE.
