Seth Rollins & Bronson Reed tried ending their rivalry at WWE Crown Jewel 2024
WWE Crown Jewel 2024 saw Seth “Freakin” Rollins facing a powerhouse in “Big” Bronson Reed, in a clash that tested Rollins’ limits against the raw strength of the Monster
From the outset, Rollins set the tone with a surprise attack on Reed during his entrance, unleashing punches and tossing Reed’s ring jacket over his head to gain an early advantage.
But Reed’s resilience and power quickly showed as he threw Rollins into the barricade and then slammed him over it into the timekeeper’s area, setting the stage for a hard-hitting showdown.
Once they returned to the ring, Reed immediately took control, landing a massive avalanche on Rollins and attempting to finish the match quickly with a Tsunami splash.
However, Rollins narrowly avoided a second attempt, creating an opening to land his signature Stomp, but to his surprise, Reed powered out of the pin, keeping himself in the match.
Seth Rollins, visibly battered with cuts from his earlier encounter with the barricade, fought back with chops and a Pedigree attempt, but Reed countered by crushing him with a sit-down maneuver that nearly ended it. Reed continued to dominate, delivering a series of chest-rattling chops and a brutal powerbomb, showcasing his power and taking Rollins to his breaking point. Rollins managed to counter with a DDT and a frog splash, but each attempt to pin Reed fell short as Reed kept kicking out.
The turning point came when Reed went for another senton splash but missed, allowing Rollins to roll out of the ring to recover.
Reed followed him outside, leading to a vicious exchange that saw Rollins drive Reed’s head into the steel steps with a brutal Stomp.
Reed staggered back to the ring, showing signs of injury but refusing to stay down. Rollins capitalized, hitting a second Stomp, yet Reed continued to crawl forward, undeterred.
Finally, Rollins climbed the ropes and delivered a devastating Super Stomp from the top, putting Reed down for the three-count in an exhausting, brutal match that left both men battered.
However, Reed made a powerful statement even in defeat, standing up with a severe cut above his eye, locking eyes with Rollins and gesturing for another fight. Rollins, taken aback, warned Reed that he knew where to find him if he wanted more, leaving the door open for a future showdown in WWE.
