The final men’s MITB qualifying match is set for tonight’s RAW!
During the May 30 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Stamford-based promotion announced the final MITB Qualifying match for the men’s MITB ladder match. Karrion Kross’ exclusion from the match was quickly pointed out by fans as they expressed disappointment.
CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano are set to battle in the final qualifying match on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The winner of the match will join Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, and Andrade in the men’s MITB ladder match.
The June 2 episode of WWE Raw will emanate live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Additionally, the show will also serve as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of Money in the Bank, which is set for June 07.
However, the announcement of the match was met with a lot of disappointment and criticism online as fans were quick to point out that even after all the support, the promotion didn’t include Karrion Kross in any of the qualifying matches.
Fans have long been asking the promotion to include Kross in daily programming and book him in good matches. However, Kross has stayed in a few backstage segments, his most recent match came against AJ Styles in April, and since then has only competed in WWE Main Event shows and in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Kross has openly discussed his frustration with the WWE and even tweeted out after the announcement of the match that he saw it too, sharing his disappointment with the fans.
Kross is reportedly in his contract year, and it seems like he is also on the path to part ways with the Stamford-based promotion. Instead of giving Chad Gable two opportunities (Yes, El Grande Americano and Chad Gable are the same person), the promotion should have allowed Kross to compete.
Kross has also been doing some amazing promo work via his social media accounts and shines in the few minutes that he is given occasionally. If given the right opportunities, Karrion can become one of the top faces in the promotion.
