John Cena will make his much anticipated in-ring return at the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE
WWE has officially filed a trademark for the term “Cenation” on January 14th, with plans to expand its merchandising portfolio, reports suggest. The trademark covers a variety of products aimed at celebrating John Cena’s legacy as he approaches the final chapter of his in-ring career.
The filing includes an extensive list of items:
- Merchandise and Collectables: Trading cards, collector albums, stickers, and framed photos.
- Stationery and Decorations: Posters, calendars, decals, and party supplies.
- Books and Prints: Comic books, picture books, coloring books, and souvenir programs.
- Everyday Items: Paper napkins, table linens, greeting cards, and wrapping paper.
With John Cena’s farewell tour in full swing and set to conclude in late 2025, the timing of this trademark aligns with WWE’s efforts to immortalize the 16-time world champion’s impact. John Cena is also preparing to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, fueling speculation about a potential final WrestleMania match and moment at WrestleMania 41.
The “Cenation” branding not only pays tribute to John Cena’s dedicated fanbase but also offers fans a chance to celebrate his career through a wide array of memorabilia. As Cena bids farewell, WWE seems poised to honor his legacy in and out of the ring.
Also, John Cena’s status as WWE’s top draw and a significant sales name is undeniable. As the Royal Rumble 2025 approaches, WrestleTix, reported on the ticket sales, reports a significant surge in ticket sales for the February 1 PLE at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 has officially sold over 54 thousand tickets, with over 3500 sold out since last Monday’s RAW on Netflix premiere, when John Cena took the stage and announced his participation in the Rumble battle. He aspires to compete for the global championship and shatter the wrestling company’s record of 17 world crowns.
