Killings made his return during Money in the Bank 2025.
After a fan movement that rallied the WWE to bring back R-Truth, the veteran made his surprising return, creating a unique record during the main event of Money in the Bank 2025. Truth attacked Cena, costing him the match.
He later made an appearance on the fallout show of Monday Night Raw in Phoenix, Arizona. Instead of the usual fun-loving, eccentric Truth fans are used to, Ron Killings emerged from the crowd dressed entirely in black. Jumping onto the commentary table, he cut a passionate promo that left the WWE Universe in Phoenix both stunned and energized.
Killings began by addressing the crowd directly, telling them their voices had been heard. He credited the WWE Universe for his return, emphasizing that this wasn’t just Truth making a comeback; this was something much deeper.
This shift in tone was deliberate. Killings made it clear that he’s no longer willing to be perceived as just a comedic act or a side character. As the crowd watched in disbelief, he pulled out a pair of scissors and, in three swift cuts, severed his signature locs, a powerful visual representation of leaving the “old” R-Truth behind.

Booker T makes a bold prediction for Ron ‘R-Truth’ Killings’ future
In a recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE legend Booker T predicted that Truth would capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
“You know what I see? I see Ron Killings winning the World Heavyweight Championship.“
Booker T believes that giving Killings a world title win could be a historic moment for the Stamford-based promotion, comparing its potential impact to one of the most iconic title changes from the Monday Night Wars era.
“How crazy would that be? You know what? It would shake up the whole world,” he said. “It’ll be the biggest thing since, you know, perhaps putting the title on Mick Foley, WCW, that night, you know, when everybody changed the channels to watch Mick Foley win… It could be unbelievable.”
