The three stars suffered injury during WWE Survivor Series
On the 12/06 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE provided an injury update on Jimmy Uso, Bronson Reed, and Tonga Loa. The 12/06 episode was the fallout show from Survivor Series 2024.
The 12/06 show of the Blue brand was aired live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. The episode featured segments that transpired during the final PLE, which featured two WarGames matches and three title clashes.
Jimmy, Reed, and Tonga suffered injuries during their WarGames clash. In the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024 PLE, Bronson Reed along with Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline took on Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk.
The original faction of Roman Reigns triumphed over Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, but the conquest came at a heavy cost for both factions. During the brutal War Games match, the three stars sustained significant injuries that sidelined them from action.
Jimmy Uso’s injury was disclosed WWE Survivor Series post-show press conference
During the start of the broadcast, the Stamford-based promotion played a clip summarising the events that transpired during the Survivor Series PLE in Vancouver last week.
After the clip, Michael Cole informed the WWE Universe that, Tonga Loa suffered a torn bicep during the main event and has undergone surgery. Cole also disclosed that Loa has undergone surgery and will be out of action indefinitely.
The promotion then played a slow-motion clip of Bronson Reed’s crash landing in the WarGames match that caused the injury. Reed suffered a broken foot and will undergo surgery, he is also out of action indefinitely.
Reed’s highlight moment came when he leaped from the top of the cage in an attempt to crush ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns with a massive splash through the table. Due to CM Punk‘s interference Reigns narrowly avoided the impact, leaving Reed to crash through a table with startling impact.
Bronson Reed even reacted to the clip that is doing rounds on social media stating, “Still walked outta that bitch.”
Furthermore, the promotion announced that Jimmy Uso is also out indefinitely with a broken foot. Jimmy’s injury was previously revealed during the WWE Survivor Series post-show press conference.
The WWE Universe will eagerly await the return of these three stars as they recover from their injuries. How will the loss of two key members impact the Bloodline’s reign of dominance? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
