These are multiple WWE superstars on the current roster worthy of a retirement tour.
WWE Universe was left shocked when John Cena made a surprise appearance at WWE Money in the Bank PLE last month and announced that 2025 would be his last year as an in-ring performer. Subsequently, he announced the John Cena Retirement that would begin at the start of next year and culminate at the end of 2025.
With WWE Universe gearing up to see this Retirement Tour unfold, here are five other WWE superstars on the current roster who are also deserving of the same privilege:
5. The Miz
The Miz was someone who was never expected to transition from a rookie from WWE Tough Enough to a Bonafide A-List WWE superstar. The Awesome One has been a part of the global juggernaut for nearly twenty years, winning multiple championships and accolades and serving in various roles for the company. The Miz‘s longevity and spectacular tenure make him worthy to have a retirement tour when he decides to have the last leg of his career.
4. Sheamus
Sheamus recently celebrated his 15th anniversary in WWE which included producing bangers, winning multiple championships and etching memorable and hard-hitting moments. The Celtic Warrior might be nearing the end of his career soon, so a great way to send him off in the sunset would be a retirement tour full of spectacular bangers inside the squared circle.
3. Randy Orton
Randy Orton is among the top WWE veterans who are still in their prime today, despite twenty-plus years in the company. Moreover, he has said that he has at least 10 years left in him inside the ring and is also speculated to be a part of John Cena’s retirement tour. Citing his incredible in-ring career, longevity and impact, Orton is well worthy of a retirement tour much like his greatest rival, John Cena.
2. AJ Styles
AJ Styles has been credited as one of the greatest professional wrestlers who has made an impact all over the world and has had a remarkable run in WWE since 2016. With AJ Styles‘ illustrious legacy in the professional wrestling business and WWE being his final destination as he mentioned, the company could plan his final run with a retirement tour pitting him against the best on the roster before riding off in the sunset.
1. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is undoubtedly one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. The Tribal Chief has defined the company like no other in the modern era with his run transcends multiple legends and Hall of Famers who came before him. With The Head of the Table’s impact on the business, he is easily among the top contenders to have a retirement tour, battling top-tier WWE superstars before hanging up his boots.
