WWE NXT will continue the build towards Heavtwave PLE this Tuesday.
With NXT Heatwave 2026 around the corner, the promotion will deliver the August 18 edition of WWE NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Multiple matches with implications for the PLE and other major storylines have been announced.
A fatal four-way match to decide the number one contender for the AAA World Cruiserweight Title is announced, where E.K. Prosper, La Parka, Tristan Angels, and Romeo Moreno will battle to secure the spot against the reigning champion, Rey Fenix.
Shiloh Hill and Jackson Drake will collide in singles action, while WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair and NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Gray will battle the team of Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong in a tag team match.
Furthermore, Thea Hail will battle Nattie in singles action, while Lexis King will defend the WWE Men’s Speed title against Lucien Price.
