The August 5 episode of WWE NXT featured appearances from Nia Jax & Chelsea Green!

WWE NXT had a wild night this past Tuesday as the August 5 episode aired live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show kicked off the build towards the upcoming NXT Heatwave 2025, which is set for August 24.

In the first match of the August 5 show, Kelani Jordan defeated Blake Monroe via count-out as Jordynne Grace interfered and chased Monroe, who ran out of the building and left the arena. Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) defeated Chase U (Uriah Connors & Kale Dixon) to retain the NXT Tag Team titles.

Furthermore, Myles Borne defeated Lexis King in a singles match, while former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax defeated Thea Hail. After the match, Jax went off on Lash Legend, who appeared, kicking off a brawl between the two.

WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Yoshiki Inamura in a non-title match. Chelsea Green, along with the Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre), also made appearances on the show during the segment between Ethan Page and Travion Heights.

Additionally, Ricky Saints cut a passionate promo, calling out Jasper Troy over their unfinished business. In the main event of the show, NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca defeated Tatum Paxley to retain the title.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend will settle their score next week

During the August 5 episode of WWE NXT, the promotion announced matches for next week’s show. After brawling throughout this week’s show, Nia Jax and Lash Legend will settle their score inside the squared circle.

Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and ‘Women’s NXT Champion’ Jacy Jayne will battle the team of Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice. Following his return of this week’s show, Joe Hendry will lock horns against Charlie Dempsey next week.

An eight-man tag match is also announced for the show, where the team of Trick Williams, Moose, Oba Femi, and Je’Von Evans will battle the DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, & Saquon Shugars).
