The NXT No Mercy go-home show was invaded by TNA!

The wait for WWE fans is almost over, as the developmental brand geared up for the 2025 edition of NXT No Mercy, set to take place this weekend. But before that, this week’s go-home episode of NXT, which aired on September 23, set the stage for the highly anticipated PLE, where several major rivalries will come to a head.

The show emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and featured multiple top names in action, including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Myles Borne, Candice LeRae, Lexis King, and Lainey Reid. With tensions running high and final statements made before No Mercy, the episode delivered pivotal moments that shaped the final build toward the big event.

WWE NXT Summary and Highlights

Myles Borne defeated Lexis King in a Lights Out match to kick off the go-home show. The two stars have now equalled the score in their feud, which seems far from over. On the other hand,  Ethan Page battled El Hijo del Dr. Wagner, Jr. in the second match of the show; El Hijo later turned out to be Tavion Heights, who submitted Page with an ankle lock.

Lainey Reid defeated Candice LeRae in the WWE Speed Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s match. She has now secured the spot in the finals against the reigning Champion, Sol Ruca.

Jordynne Grace defeated Arianna Grace and was confronted by Blake Monroe after the match. The two proceeded to attack each other with weapons. Ahead of their title clash at No Mercy, Lola Vice and Jacy Jayne butted heads on the mic before Vice hit the Champion with a spinning back fist to pose with the title.

In the co-main event of the show, Darkstate (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, & Saquon Shugars) defeated Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) and Joe Hendry in a six-man tag team match.

In the main event of the show, NXT Champion Oba Femi battled TNA World Champion Trick Williams in a winner-takes-all match. The main event clash between the two champions ended in a No Contest as the entire TNA locker room invaded NXT to kick off a major brawl between the two brands.

Ricky Saints walked in calm, cool, and collected, confidently picking up the NXT Championship. However, Oba Femi pulled himself to his feet beside him, snatched the title away, and raised it high in the air, asserting his dominance.
