Johnny Gargano returned to NXT to partake in the gauntlet match.
The March 24 episode of WWE NXT continued the build towards the upcoming Stand & Deliver PLE, with matches and segments laying the groundwork for matches at the show on April 4.
The newly crowned Women’s Speed Champion, Wren Sinclair, along with Kendal Grey, defeated Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) in the first match of the show. On the other hand, Sol Ruca and Zaria clashed in a promo battle ahead of their match at the PLE.
Kelani Jordan pinned Thea Hail, who was saved from further beatdown at the hands of Jordan by Jaida Parker. Johnny Gargano made his return to NXT and won the North American Championship No. 1 Contender Gauntlet match. He will now face Myles Borne for the title at the PLE.
Meanwhile, Los Americanos (Bravo & Rayo Americano) defeated the Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) in the NXT Men’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Semifinals. In the main event of the show, the clash between Tony D’Angelo and Ricky Saints ended in disqualification due to interference from Ethan Page.
Page and Saints attacked D’Angell after the match. NXT Champion Joe Hendry arrived, taking the three men down, and NXT GM Robert Stone announced a Fatal 4-Way Match at NXT Stand & Deliver with Hendry’s NXT title on the line.
Mike Santana & OTM will battle the DarkState in New York

The next week’s edition of WWE NXT will serve as the go-home show for the upcoming PLE and is set to emanate live from the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
TNA World Champion Mike Santana will team up with OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) against DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) in a six-man tag team match.
Elsewhere on the card, Kendal Grey is set to face Lola Vice in a number one contender’s match to decide who will challenge Jacy Jayne at Stand & Deliver.
On the other hand, Josh Briggs has been named the special guest referee for the clash between Jasper Troy and Keanu Carver. Meanwhile, after the altercation this week, Jaida Parker will carry on her rivalry with Kelani Jordan in a singles match.
Additionally, after capturing the win in the semi-finals, Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo Americano) will take on Birthright (Charlie Dempsey & Uriah Conners) in the finals of the tournament to determine the challengers for the NXT Tag Team Champions Vanity Project at Stand & Deliver.
During this week’s show, Tatum Paxley managed to locate Blake Monroe at a hotel and came face-to-face with her at the room door. Paxley made it clear they’re set to meet next week, warning Monroe to show up with the NXT North American title, which she stole from Paxley the week prior.
A contract signing for Stand & Deliver will also take place next week between Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, Ricky Starks, and Tony D’Angelo. As noted, the match was made official after the brawl during the final moments of this week’s show.
