WWE's plans for Team Roman Reigns vs Bloodline 2.0 clash potentially revealed

Roman Reigns has been battling Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline all by himself!

Roman Reigns made his long-awaited WWE return at SummerSlam 2024, making the rumors true. Roman appeared during the Bloodline rules match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa, and attacked Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch & a spear during the mid-match to help Cody retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.

Following that Roman made his return to the blue brand after four months of confronting the new Bloodline & brawled with the Bloodline, trying to take the Ula Fala from Solo Sikoa.

However Solo escaped with the Samoan Necklace, but the Infamous Tonga Loa and Solo’s right-hand man Tama Tonga became the victim of Roman’s assault. 

On the August 16, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Roman battled with Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala and had it back on his neck, however, the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu made his return and assaulted Roman.

The new faction demolished Roman by triple powerbombing him through the table. As the numbers are playing the game against Roman, the backstage reports reveal the plans for Roman Reigns & the new Bloodline clash.

Bloodline Civil War to be held at SurvivorSeries

According to Pro Wrestling Nexus’ latest report, WWE has been planning to involve the New Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa involving Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa have a war game match against the Original Bloodline led by Roman Reigns involving The Usos (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Sami Zayn) at SurvivorSeries: WarGames on November 30, 2023, at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The WarGames match is set to be the main event of this year’s SurvivorSeries PLE. However, the details behind the potential match are unknown. Since the match is regularly held on a five-on-five basis in the main roster, the fifth member of both teams is unknown.

The report reveals that there is a possible reunion of the Original Bloodline members in the upcoming events. There is no information on how they will reunite, as Jey Uso & Sami Zayn are on the opposite brand (WWE Raw).

However, there are recent rumors of potential transfers within the brand discussed by Adam Pearce backstage, which could be Sami & Jey. On the other hand, there is also a possibility of a fifth member on both sides.

As this being said, Roman’s next scheduled appearance is on the September 13, 2024 episode of SmackDown. It would be interesting to see if Roman returns with the OG Bloodline for the backup.
