CM Punk has finally his long-awaited WWE RAW in-ring comeback
The long-awaited in-ring return of CM Punk at WWE RAW after 4,004 days did not disappoint. In a monumental main event, Punk clashed with Seth Rollins in a match that left fans breathless with its intensity, storytelling, and heart-pounding action.
The match began with palpable tension as the two stared each other down. CM Punk smirked while Seth Rollins glared, setting the tone for an explosive encounter.
The opening moments saw a wild brawl, with Punk gaining early momentum by clotheslining Rollins out of the ring and attempting a plancha. Rollins countered with a topé suicida, sending Punk crashing into the barricade and setting the stage for a physical battle.
The action spilled into the crowd, with Punk backdropping Rollins onto the concrete. Despite holding his knee in pain, CM Punk managed to regain control, using his signature resourcefulness to counter Rollins’ relentless offense. However, Rollins’ aggression shone through as he targeted Punk with brutal strikes and even mocked him by delivering a Go To Sleep of his own.
Back in the ring, the tides turned when Punk unleashed a flurry of his greatest hits, including high knees and clotheslines, leading to a dramatic near-fall. Rollins nearly sealed the victory with a Pedigree and a Buckle Bomb, followed by the Blackout, but Punk displayed incredible resilience by getting his foot on the ropes.
The climax saw both men trading blows on the top rope before Punk countered a superplex attempt and delivered a devastating Go To Sleep. As Rollins staggered back into his grasp, Punk delivered a second Go To Sleep for the emphatic victory.
This historic match marked Punk’s triumphant return and set the stage for future confrontations in the Netflix era of WWE RAW. With Rollins’ frustration boiling over and Punk proving he’s still “The Best in the World,” the rivalry is far from over.
