John Cena’s final match will take place at SNME.
The December 13 edition of Monday Night Raw emanated live from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The episode served as the go-home show for the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where John Cena will compete in his retirement match.
The show set the stage for the show this Saturday, while building new storylines and continuing ongoing ones. Gunther kicked off the show and cut a promo, promising to choke out Cena in his final match and force him to do one thing Cena said he would never do: “Give Up.”
Iyo Sky defeated Kairi Sane in the first match of the show, while Logan Paul attacked Rey Mysterio as the masked man reappeared to help him against Rey. LA Knight came to rescue Rey after a while, leading a match between the two in the main event.
AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) defeated The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) to retain the WWE World Tag Team titles. On the other hand, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Nikki Bella & challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the World title. Additionally, Roxanne Perez pinned Lyra Valkyria with Liv Morgan’s help.
The main event clash between Knight and Logan ended with the masked man attacking Knight, aiding Paul again to pin LA after a frog splash. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, along with Logan then punished Knight. Breakker then cut a promo directed at CM Punk as Knight refused to stay down backstage, leading to more punishment by Reed and Paul.

Following Styles and Lee’s win, the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) stepped into the ring to confront them. Just then, Jey Uso’s music hits, and he comes out YEETING alongside his brother Jimmy Uso. The Usos announced their return to the tag team division during the segment, which ended when the New Day tried to attack Jimmy and Jey, but was sent packing, as the Usos face off against the Tag Champions.
Later in the show, during a backstage segment during the commercials, Kingston and Woods went off on the Usos, telling them they need to go through them if they want a shot at the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Woods stated that next week’s the Usos will get to add another L to the list, confirming the tag team match for the December 15 show.
In another segment during the commercials, Ivy Nile, along with the Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), discussed her upcoming Intercontinental Championship match against the reigning champion, Maxxine Dupri.
Nile reminded Dupri that she had never been able to beat her in the past, and she wouldn’t be able to now. Ivy also added that no matter how much training Dupri puts in, nothing would save the Intercontinental title from her.
The December 15 episode of WWE Raw will emanate live from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The episode will serve as the fallout show for the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Cena is set to compete in his retirement match.
