Women’s are set for action next week on WWE RAW
WWE RAW on December 15 delivered a storyline-heavy episode that focused on fallout, chaos, and setting the stage for next week’s show.
The night opened with the aftermath of John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, as Gunther soaked in deafening boos and repeatedly bragged about making Cena tap out. His short but effective appearance reinforced his dominance before Adam Pearce sent him out of the building.
The tag team rivalry between The Usos and The New Day was renewed, with Jimmy and Jey Uso picking up a clean victory with the 1D after Grayson Waller was ejected from ringside. In the women’s division, Maxxine Dupri continued her underdog title reign by defeating Ivy Nile, relying on persistence and submissions to retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
The Women’s World Championship match between Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez ended in controversy when Nikki Bella attacked both competitors, forcing a no contest and throwing the title picture into disarray.
Logan Paul later defeated Rey Mysterio following interference from a masked man, who was ultimately revealed to be Austin Theory, while Bron Breakker laid out the champion with a brutal Spear to close the angle. Looking ahead to WWE RAW on December 22, several matches were announced.
