Third time’s the charm?
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch defended the title against Maxxine Dupri in the third match of the November 17 episode of WWE Raw. Lynch, ready to prove that the last two losses were a fluke, stepped into the ring with pure aggression.
Becky got right into Dupri’s face during the introduction by Alicia Taylor and even started to argue with referee Jessika Carr.
Lynch continued to argue with Carr, and Dupri capitalized, landing a big boot, looking to pin the Champion and pick up the win the third time. However, Lynch kicked out and rallied back and started to take over the title clash.
Lynch continued beating down Dupri ringside during the commercials as the match started to pick up pace, and Dupri tried to counter the onslaught.

Back from commercials, Maxxine started to build some momentum, delivering a drop kick. Becky fought back with a powerbomb right into a cover, but Dupri managed to kick out.
Lynch locked in the Disarm-her as Dupri rolled through to try to escape. Lynch didn’t let go of the hold, but Dupri managed to fight back to lock in the Ankle Lock as Lynch started yelling out in pain. Dupri had to let go of the hold as her shoulders went down, and Carr started the pin.
Lynch, limping on one leg, landed the Manhandle Slam to pin Dupri, who put a foot on the ropes to break the pin. Irked Lynch once again started arguing with Carr, before throwing off Dupri outside, asking for Carr to start the count.
Becky went to remove the padding from the turnbuckle. Just then, AJ Lee made her return for the first time since Wrestlepalooza. Dupri capitalized to land a high-flying moonsault to pin Lynch and capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
