WWE RAW Results: CM Punk becomes new number one contender for World Heavyweight Championship after brutal triple threat match

It was a wild and emotional night on Monday Night RAW following Crown Jewel 2025, capped off by an explosive triple threat main event that saw CM Punk outlast LA Knight and Jey Uso to become the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The match was hard-hitting, unpredictable, and everything fans could have asked for in a high-stakes battle between three of WWE’s biggest stars.

The atmosphere inside the arena was electric as Jey Uso made his trademark “YEET” entrance through the crowd, soaking in the energy of the WWE Universe.

LA Knight followed to a thunderous ovation of “YEAH” chants, while CM Punk received arguably the loudest reaction of the night, with the Perth crowd singing along to “Cult of Personality.” The energy set the stage for a main event that delivered from the opening bell to the final moment.

Chaos reigns in a fast-paced main event

The match started with a flurry of action as all three competitors traded control. Knight and Uso temporarily joined forces to take out Punk, but alliances dissolved as quickly as they formed. Uso’s athleticism shone early, sending Punk to the floor with a stiff superkick. Knight took advantage of the distraction, slamming Jey onto the announce table before the commercial break.

When we returned, Punk was in full control, hitting his signature running knee and bulldog combination on both opponents. He climbed the ropes and delivered a Macho Man–style elbow drop, drawing massive cheers.

LA Knight fought back with a pair of DDTs and his own flying elbow, nearly stealing the victory. Uso fired up late, landing a superkick and a splash on Knight for a close two count, but the momentum swung once more when Punk’s veteran instincts took over.

CM Punk earns his shot, but chaos follows

In the final moments, Knight planted Punk with a BFT, but Jey Uso broke up the count. Uso climbed the ropes for another splash, only to be caught midair by Punk, who countered perfectly into a Go To Sleep. One three-count later, CM Punk was officially the new number one contender for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.

Punk’s celebration was short-lived. Rollins and his stable, The Vision, emerged, led by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. A vicious beatdown followed, with Reed delivering a crushing Tsunami and Rollins declaring himself “the king” of WWE.

But in a shocking twist, Bron Breakker turned on Rollins, spearing him out of his boots as Reed and Paul Heyman stood tall beside him. RAW ended in chaos, leaving fans wondering what The Vision’s true alignment is now.
