Bron Breakker wins, Wyatt Sicks returns, The Bloodline attack & much more!

The October 21, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw was telecasted live from the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.

The show featured a number of interesting matches and segments featuring some of the company’s big stars. Get to know what happened this Monday, as we have the complete summary, highlights, results, and winner’s list for the 10/21 episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw Summary and Highlights

Seth Rollins vs Bronson Reed

Seth Rollins attacked Bronson Reed backstage. After the attack, Rollins entered the arena and called for Reed to come out for a fight.

WWE security tried to defuse the situation as Reed charged for the ring. Rollins flew outside the ring to attack Rollins, and the two collided as security tried to separate them. Rollins tried to get on his feet as Reed put Rollins on the announcer’s table and went for a dive.

At the last second, Rollins got out of harm’s way and avoided the Tsunami and Reed crashed into the announcer’s desk. Reed got up and was on his feet as the crowd started singing.

Backstage

Damage CTRL talked about their match against Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez interrupted the segment.

Damage CTRL and Morgan engaged in a verbal confrontation. Sky offered the idea to fight Morgan and Raquel tonight. Morgan started laughing at the comment and accepted the fight.

New Day vs Authors of Pain

WWE bid farewell to WWE announcer Samantha Irvin and welcomed Lillian Garcia back as WWE announcer. Garcia introduced the AOP as Akom and Rezar walked into the ring. Xavier Woods and Akam started the fight in the middle of the ring.

Woods and Kofi tagged each other to break their opponent strategically. Akam tried to tag Rezar but New Day broke the attempt. Despite the offense absorbed Akom flatlined the New Day with a closeline.

Karrion Kross was ringside and the camera panned to fans’ surprise and The Miz was near the commentary’s desk watching the tag team battle. While Rezar and Woods fought in the middle of the ring. Woods tagged Kofi in as he went ballistic on Rezar, Woods went flying outside the ring to take out Akom.

Kingston boom dropped Rezar and tried to go for Trouble in Paradise but Rezar caught and countered. R-Truth suddenly came to attack The Miz. Kingston took advantage of this distraction to advance in the tournament and won the fight via pinfall.

Wyatt Sicks returns

The Miz and AOP attacked R-truth after the fight as Kingston and Woods argued to help Truth. The light suddenly went off in the arena and Wyatt Sicks’ music hit.

Nikki cross flew out of the top rope and took out Scarlett. Wyatt Sicks attacked AOP, Kross, and The Miz to save Truth. The Wyatt Sicks took out Akom and Rezar (AOP).

The Miz stood up in the middle of the ring and smiled as he thought the danger was over. Uncle Howdy shows up behind him but Paul Ellering saved The Miz and pushes him out of the way as Uncle Howdy attacked Ellering with the mandible claw.

Backstage

RAW GM Adam Pearce was interrupted by Bronson Reed. Rollins and Reed got into a fight with each other again as security tried to separate the two stars.

Jey Uso talked with Cath Kelley backstage about his title fight against Bron Brekker tonight, Jey also talked about his recent visit to SmackDown.

Damage CTRL vs Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Back from the commercial, Damage CTRL was inside the ring as Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson were present ringside. The team of Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan walked out to the arena. Sky and Morgan started the fight but Morgan instantly tagged in Raquel.

Kairi Sane and Sky tried a double teamup to fight Raquel but were unsuccessful. Raquel went for a double elbow but the Dmagae CTRL moved out of harm’s way. Kairi tried to cover but Raquel kicked out. Sane was tagged back in but Raquel closelined them both downMorgan meanwhile posed with the inaugural Crown Jewel title ringside and said ‘My Title’ to the camera.

We went into the commercials as the fight continued. Sky caught a boot from Rauel and attacked her knee. Sky landed a missile drop on Liv and attacked her with a metiora to go for the pinfall. Morgan kicked out at two. Damage CTRL took control of the fight and tried to finish the fight as Raquel broke things up.

IYO threw Jackson over the barricade and Legend hit IYO with a right-hand ringside as the match ended due to outside interference. The match ended in a no-contest due to the interference.

Rhea Ripley attacks

Damage CTRL brought Lash and Jakara to clash in the middle of the ring as they landed their finishing move on Sen and Sky. Morgan and Raquel walk into the ring, and suddenly Rhea Ripley’s music hits as she walks out into the arena.

Ripley quickly took care of Raquel and manhandled Morgan in the ring. Ripley put a beating on the champion.

Ripley went for a Rip Ride on Morgan but Liv was saved by Dominik Mysterio as he put himself on the line to save Morgan. Ripley grabbed Dominik but Liv and Raquel pulled Dominik to the outside and saved him from a beatdown at the hands of The Eradicator.

Backstage

Rollins and Reed collided for the third time as Raw GM and security tried to separate them. Pearce lost his temper as he yelled at both stars asked the two to stop fighting each other and announced Reed vs Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel 2024.

The Judgment Day argued with each other as Raquel goes off on Carlito and asked her what he does around here. Carlito replied that he would take care of the Judgement Day’s problems.

Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs American-Made

The chants of ‘619’ echo in the arena as the battle between Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs Brutus and Julius Creed(American-Made) started.

Mysterio set up for the 619 onto Brutus but Chad Gable got on the ring apron and distracted Rey. Vega came to the rescue and threw her slipper onto Gable and Vega and started fighting with Ivy outside on the floor as she landed a hurricane on Ivy.

Mysterio and Lee advanced in the tournament as Rey landed 619 on Julius followed by a sky-high foot stomp by Lee to win the match.

Backstage

Pearce talked to Dmage CTRl after Lash and Jakara’s attack and assured them that he would resolve the matter. Carlito walked in and asked for a title fight for Dominik Mysterio.

Pearce laughed at the suggestion and said if he(Mysterio) beats a former Heavyweight champion he will think about it.

Bron Breakker talked with Jackie Redmond backstage ahead of his fight against Jey Uso. Jackie asked her about the fight and Jey’s recent family drama. Breakker said that he would take what belongs to him as Jey is distracted by his family drama. Breakker music hits and he walked out into the arena.

Cath Kelley talked to Ring General Gunther backstage about Cody Rhodes’s call-out on last week’s episode of SmackDown. Gunther criticized Rhodes and said that he is a unique champion, unlike Rhodes.

Damian Priest walked in during the conversation and made his case for a chance for the Heavyweight title. Priest reiterated that he doesn’t want a handout and will make his case for the title and will challenge Gunther once he gets back from Crown Jewel.

Jey Uso vs Bron Brekker

Lillian Garcia entered the ring to officially announce the champion and challenger for the IC title fight as the bell rang and the fight started. Uso and Breakker stared at each other.

Jey Uso overpowered the challenger and threw Breakker out of the ring and stared at Breakker as we went into the commercials. Breakker quickly took back control of the fight and yelled into the camera that Jey might as well give up as Jey rallied back with multiple right hands. Jey went for a high-flying action but was stopped in the tracks by Bron.

Brekker looked for the superplex from the top rope but Jey avoided the fall. Breakker quickly rushed back to the ropes and landed the Frankensteiner from the top rope and went for the cover. Jey kicked out at two as we went into the commercials

Back from the commercial, Jey landed a spear out of nowhere and went for the pinfall. Bron kicked out at two. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu appeared in the crowd as the fight continued.

The Bloodline attacks Jey Uso

Jey went outside to confront Sikoa and asked him what he was doing here on Raw. Sikoa told Jey that he was there to help him.

Tonga Loa stared yelling at Jey as Jey landed a superkick to Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga during the fight sequence outside the ring. Sikoa confronted Jey on his actions as they argued ringside Breakker speared Sikoa as Jey moved out of harm’s way.

Jacob Fatu entered the fray as he came face to face with Breakker. Jey took out both the brawlers with a high-flying action through the ropes. Jey went for a splash but ate a knee to the gut by the challenge.

Breakker went for a spear but The champion ducked and landed the Usos splash to bag the win. However, the challenger kicked out at the last moment.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa intervened in the match, as Raw GM Pierce and WWE officials removed them from the arena. Jacob Fatu landed a superkick to the champion and dropped the champion Jey on the commentary desk as he landed a Samoan drop.

Breakker capitalized on the situation and landed a super spear in the ring to bag the win and the Intercontinental Title. Breakker posed with his new Intercontinental title as the crowd reigned down boos on the newly crowned champion.
