WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
John Cena kicks off the show in Springfield

John Cena kicked off the show, praised the Springfield fans, and recalled spending a lot of time playing football in the city. The 17-time World Champion gave a shout-out to Springfield College, stating they prepared him for WWE, and then introduced his friends and family in the crowd.
Cena mentioned Brock Lesnar, calling him intimidating, controversial, and damn near invincible. Cena continued, saying that upon his return, he made Lesnar his target. He said targeting Lesnar might have been smart, safe, and easy since he only had six appearances left.
Cena stated that the fans were the reason he said yes, because he was the “last real Champion.” Cena said that, to him, being the last real Champion wasn’t about main events or titles but about living by Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect.
He admitted he was afraid of Brock Lesnar and might fail, but would he back down? Hell no. Fired up, Cena declared he would take the fight to Brock Lesnar and hyped up Wrestlepalooza, WWE’s first ESPN PLE. “YOU WANT SOME, COME GET SOME!”

Pearce told them to make sense of the situation, and Knight replied that he didn’t care about what Uso had planned for Wrestlepalooza. He was still angry about being speared by Uso last week. Adam explained that he couldn’t let the show get out of hand and asked what needed to be done to keep the peace. Knight said he wanted a match against Bron and Bronson, and suggested teaming up with Jimmy Uso. Jey became upset, pointing out that Jim was his brother, but Knight insisted that’s how it would be and stormed off.

CM Punk & AJ Lee vs Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch face-off ahead of Wrestlepalooza
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch first made the walk with a hostile crowd and were interrupted by AJ Lee and CM Punk, who walked out to a big ovation and chants. Lee and Punk stepped into the ring as “CM PUNK” chants erupted. Punk greeted everyone before introducing himself as AJ’s husband and stated that he wasn’t going to waste time with a long, drawn-out intro.
“AJ’s HUSBAND” chants erupted as Punk pointed out that the fan knew her name and then asked who the team leader was, “Who’s the man?” Punk continued, stating that while they claimed to be the greatest couple, they made the walk with two entrance songs, while he put Cult of Personality on the shelf and shared the spotlight with AJ.
He then asked if Seth and Becky were going to do the same or if their egos would get in the way. Rollins fired back, calling Punk the most selfish human being he had ever seen. Seth stated that he was going to do something unselfish; he was going to give CM Punk credit, claiming AJ Lee was the best decision he had ever made in his “personal” life.
However, as far as business was concerned, inserting her into this was a mistake Punk would regret for the rest of his days. AJ stated that it was Rollins’ mistake to use his wife as a human shield. Becky responded, saying nobody expected her to come back and she couldn’t believe how irresponsible Punk was.
Lynch then asked how AJ was feeling physically, mentioning her book and asking how her neck was. = Lynch called AJ a liability, as Lee thanked her for reading her book, stating that she hadn’t read hers. AJ stated she didn’t know what would happen, just like she didn’t know what would happen on SmackDown when she returned.
AJ continued, stating that not even she knew what she was going to do next. Lee then warned Rollins, who responded with laughter before asking if AJ thought he couldn’t handle her. Rollins called AJ a little girl and said he might not be able to predict her, but he couldn’t read his husband like a book.
Seth stated that Punk had a nasty habit of leaving when things let him down, so this Saturday, when his wife ripped Lee to shreds, she should pray that he wouldn’t leave her, too. AJ fired back with a thudding slap as Rollins, fuming with anger, stated that he never put his hands on a lady, and thankfully, he had someone who would.
He looked at Becky, who nodded her head in disagreement, and the two started to bicker as Punk and Lee enjoyed the show. Lynch left the ring as Rollins yelled at her to come back. Seth turned around to face Punk, pushed him off, and ran away. Punk went to chase him as Becky came in to take down Lee with the Manhandle Slam. Punk rushed in as Lynch began to slap him before leaving and celebrating with Rollins.

Vaquer followed it up with the Devil’s Kiss and SVB to pick up the win.
Asuka stepped onto the apron after the match as Iyo Sky’s music hit, and she quickly darted into the ring to stop Asuka. In the final moments, Breakker took out Knight with a shoulder tackle and halted Jimmy’s momentum on the top rope, helping Reed deliver the Jagged Edge to earn the win, pinning Big Jim. After the match, Bron Brons targeted Jimmy, which brought out Jey Uso. Jey darted in with a steel chair, clearing the ring of Bron Brons.
Jey then checked on Big Jim as Knight stepped in, grabbing the steel chair. Jey turned around to see Knight and began to calm him down. Knight tossed the chair aside as Jey offered a handshake.
