RAW saw an increase in viewership and ratings.
On June 24, WWE RAW’s viewership increased, both overall and by key demographic, compared to the previous week. According to Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch, RAW had an average viewership of 1.814 million on Monday, up from 1.747 million the previous week. Monday’s figure was RAW’s highest since the post-WrestleMania 40 broadcast.
WWE RAW took on Game Seven of the NHL Stanley Cup Final on Monday. Keller describes the hourly breakdown as follows:
- The first hour attracted 1.804 million viewers.
- Second hour: 1.936 million viewers.
- Third hour: 1.703 million viewers.
In the 18-49 demographic, RAW received an average rating of 0.61. This is a gain over last week (0.55) and RAW’s highest number since the post-WrestleMania edition.
It has been a good week for WWE
Following a difficult few months due to the NBA and NHL Playoffs, wrestling viewership have rebounded in recent days. On Friday, “WWE SmackDown” earned its biggest audience since April, while “AEW Collision” stayed solid on Saturday, a much-needed rebound after a shockingly low “AEW Dynamite” rating days before. The momentum continued on Monday, with “WWE Raw” having a successful night as well.
As with “SmackDown” and “Collision,” “Raw” performed admirably against stiff competition. While official figures have yet to be released, “Raw” aired alongside the highly anticipated Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers Friday night. After squandering a 3-0 series lead, the Panthers held off the Oilers for a 2-1 triumph, securing their first Stanley Cup in team history.
“Raw” included a follow-up to last week’s Wyatt Sicks faction premiere, with a pre-taped video of Bo Dallas chatting with his Uncle Howdy character. The episode was mostly focused on WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, who resumed her attempts to seduce Dominik Mysterio and assisted his Judgment Day partners, Finn Balor and Jordan Devlin, in capturing the WWE World Tag Team Championships from Awesome Truth.
