Hello everyone and welcome to Khel Now’s LIVE COVERAGE and RESULTS of the WWE RAW’s Netflix Debut (January 6, 2024). The start is just a few hours away! I’m your host Abhijit, and I’ll be keeping you company through what promises a fascinating evening of  WWEPlease wait 30 seconds for the Live blog to load.

The first episode of Monday Night Raw in 2025 is a historic PLE-like show that will mark a groundbreaking move in 2025 as the flagship show transitions from traditional television to Netflix. This marks the first time since the Red brand’s debut in 1993 that it will no longer be available on traditional television.

The Stamford-based promotion is preparing an action-packed debut episode, featuring top Superstars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and more.

The debut episode of Red brand on Netflix will be held at the Intuit Dome In Inglewood, California, United States.

The promotion has many surprises for the fans in the debut episode as well as a special appearance from rapper Travis Scott, adding a star-studded flair to the event.

Confirmed Match card and segments for 01/06 WWE Raw

  • Liv Morgan (c) vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship
  • Jey Uso vs Drew McIntyre
  • Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa – Tribal Combat Match for the Ula Fala
  • CM Punk vs Seth Rollins
  • John Cena kicks off his Farewell Tour
  • The Rock returns

The Rock returns

The Final Boss, on his social media, has confirmed his much-anticipated return and appearance on Netflix’s RAW debut.

The Final Boss will cut a promo in his first appearance since the Bad Blood 2024 PLE in October where he made a brief appearance in the final moments of the PLE.

Liv Morgan (c) vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship

Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will defend her crown against her fierce rival Rhea Ripley in the debut episode of the Red brand. Ripley triumphed in their previous encounter at Survivor Series during the Women’s WarGames match and is determined to carry that momentum forward by capturing the title.

Morgan on the other hand wants to defeat Ripley on the stage such as the 01/06 debut show to cement her status as the World Champion and continue her dominant reign.

Jey Uso vs Drew McIntyre

A grudge match between ‘Main event’ Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre has also been booked for the debut show. The match was made official during last week’s episode of the Red brand where McIntyre took out Jey with a vicious claymore.

Later in the episode, General Manager Adam Pearce made the match between the two officials for the debut show. McIntyre is on a mission to take out every member of the OG Bloodline and Jey is his second target after decimating Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa – Tribal Combat Match for the Ula Fala

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns will lock horns with Solo Sikoa in a tribal combat match where the Ula Fala is on the line. The high-stakes match between the two would determine the future of the Bloodline as well as who the ‘real’ tribal chief is between the two.

Reigns is looking to restore order and reclaim his seat at the high table with the Ula Fala around his neck while Sikoa wants to defeat Reigns to solidify himself as the real tribal chief. Family and legacy will be on the line as the two warriors will collide to determine the true tribal chief.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins

The rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins is well known among the fandom as the two stars never shy away from expressing their disdain for each other. The animosity was on full display in the final episode of the Red brand in 2024, last week where the two stars were involved in a war of words.

Rollins believes that Punk is a ‘cancer’ and he has to get rid of it while Punk wants to teach him a lesson about respect. Punk and Rollins will settle their score inside the ring in the main event of the debut show on Monday at the Intutit Dome.

John Cena kicks off his Farewell Tour

The ‘G.O.A.T’ of pro wrestling John Cena will make an appearance on the debut show to kick off his farewell tour. Cena will compete full-time during the year as per reports and will retire at the end of 2025.
