The debut episode will emanate from the Intutit Dome
The Stamford-based promotion is all set to kick off this year with two back-to-back shows of SmackDown followed by the highly anticipated debut show of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
The 01/03 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The 01/03 episode will be a three-hour show, marking the Blue brand’s transition to a three-hour format.
Two matches have been announced for the first episode of the Blue brand in 2025 as WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax will defend her crown against Naomi and United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will take on Andrade in a non-title match.
Following the 01/03 episode, WWE will pack their bags for the highly-anticipated debut show of Monday Night Raw which is set for January 06 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The Red brand is transitioning to streaming for the first time since its inception in 1993.
The tickets for Raw’s debut episode on Netflix are almost sold out
As per a recent tweet from WrestleTix, the tickets for the debut show of the Red brand are almost sold out ahead of the show next week. Around 14,900 tickets have been sold for the show at the Intuit Dome which has a capacity of 15,534.
With only four days to go until the show, a remarkable 96% of tickets have been sold, leaving just 634 remaining as of today. Notably, this represents a significant surge of 1,051 tickets since the last update three days ago.
Four-high stakes clash is set for the debut episode which includes top stars like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, and more. Apart from this multiple top stars including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, hip-hop icon Travis Scott, and John Cena are set for an appearance on the show.
The debut episode of the Red brand marks a significant change as for the first time in 32 years the flagship program will not air on television. For the majority of its time, the Red brand has been aired on USA Network but from next week it will be exclusively streamed on Netflix.
