Let’s discuss the latest rumors making the rounds among fans on social media!

Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. The road to WrestleMania began with the Royal Rumble PLE and was followed by Elimination Chamber. Fans have started speculating about the matches and appearances.

In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Rusev’s return, an update on Nia Jax, Rey Fenix vs Andrade, injury updates, and more.

Rusev’s return

Miro better known among WWE fans as Rusev parted ways with AEW in February and since then rumors of his return to the WWE have been prevalent.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, multiple sources have confirmed that Rusev was seen at the Stamford Headquarters. The reports confirm that he has signed with the company, and his visit to Stamford is part of the buildup for his return.

However, Rusev’s wife, Lana (CJ Perry), was not present with him in Stamford, and it’s unclear at this time whether she will rejoin the promotion alongside him.

Update on Nia Jax

According to WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass, while they don’t know the exact reason Nia Jax is on WWE’s internal “inactive list,” they confirmed that she has “not been cleared for action,” which is why she hasn’t been appearing on TV.

It was initially expected that Nia would return a couple of weeks ago, but they also mentioned they don’t have any information on why that hasn’t happened and won’t speculate further.

“Nia Jax has been, I want to phrase this properly, not cleared. She was due to be cleared I believe two weeks ago. I don’t know if that’s happened. Obviously, she’s not been on TV. I don’t know if it was an injury or whatnot, however, I do know internally she has not been cleared for action, which is why she hasn’t been on TV,”

Jax’s last in-ring performance was during the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE, where she battled the team of Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus alongside Candice LeRae.

Rey Fenix vs Andrade

Rey Fenix is set to make his WWE debut on the April 04 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, this came following AEW exit.

According to WrestleVotes a segment was originally planned for the March 21 episode of SmackDown where Nick Aldis would inform Andrade about a new talent coming to the brand, suggesting that the GM wanted Andrade to face this newcomer first.

While the scene was ultimately cut, WrestleVotes points out that it suggests there were at least plans for an Andrade vs Rey Fenix match. However, they aren’t sure if that match is still in the works.

Injury Updates

According to PW Nexus, Asuka is set to return to the Raw brand from injury sometime in May, likely after the Backlash PLE, while Tonga Loa is set to return around June of this year.

Furthermore, Ilja Dragunov is aiming to be cleared and compete on Raw once more in September. He has been out of action since suffering a suspected ACL tear during a September 2024 house show.

Additionally, Fightful reports that there has been little to no further discussion regarding the rumored Bayley vs Roxanne Perez program on the main roster.
