Karrion Kross’ contract update & WWE: Unreal

According to Fightful Select, Karrion Kross and Scarlett were not present at Monday Night Raw last night in Brooklyn, New York. The report also adds that their deals with the promotion are up this weekend.

Andrew Baydala reveals that WWE is reportedly considering expanding the two-night format to more Premium Live Events (PLEs), with Survivor Series 2026 and Royal Rumble 2027 being top candidates. Money in the Bank is also being discussed as a possible addition to the format.

According to Fightful Select, camera crews for WWE: Unreal were seen filming behind-the-scenes footage of Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank cash-in, possibly for a second season of the series.

Brock Lesnar’s return

According to a report from PW Insider, Brock Lesnar was quietly flown into New Jersey the night before, with the promotion keeping his return under wraps throughout the day. Even many of the company’s writers were kept in the dark about his planned SummerSlam appearance.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar made his return during the final moments of Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025. Lesnar took out John Cena with an F5 during his return.

Seth Rollins’ sham injury

According to Fightful Select, WWE kept the Seth Rollins situation tightly guarded, not sharing details with many producers or talent. In fact, several people within the company were told not to expect a Money in the Bank cash-in at all.

Rollins made his return during the final moments of Night of SummerSlam 2025 after CM Punk defeated Gunther to capture the World Heavyweight title after 12 years. Rollins threw down the crutches and removed the knee braces to reveal that his injury was part of ‘Pan B’. He then cashed in the MITB contract on Punk to capture the World title.

Jelly Roll’s performance & Street Fighter filming schedule

Fightful Select reports that Jelly Roll received highly positive feedback within WWE for his involvement, particularly for his performance at SummerSlam.

Jelly Roll teamed up with Randy Orton to battle the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a losing effort on Night 1 of SummerSlam 2025.

Fightful Select also reports that the upcoming filming of the Street Fighter movie, which will feature major WWE stars like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, is not expected to interfere with their WWE schedules.
