John Cena’s final match

According to Wrestling Observer Live‘s Bryan Alvarez, John Cena’s final WWE match is set for a Saturday Night’s Main Event in December. One reason for choosing that event is that WWE isn’t holding any premium live events during that month.
F4WOnline‘s Dave Meltzer further reports that Boston’s TD Garden currently has no publicly listed events for Saturday, December 13. John Cena has previously stated that his final match will happen in mid-December, and according to his father, it’s expected to take place at the Garden.
King of the Hill taking over SmackDown next week
According to a new report by Variety, the marketing campaign for Hulu’s King of the Hill reboot will play a major role in the Aug. 15 episode of SmackDown on the USA Network.
For August 15 SmackDown in Boston, a custom wrestling mat will showcase ‘King of the Hill’ branding, with themed digital graphics displayed throughout the arena.
Additionally, WWE Superstars Sheamus & Johnny Gargano will also produce videos inspired by memorable moments from the show.
Roman Reigns’ next PLE appearance
According to WrestleVotes, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns was not originally planned for the upcoming Clash in Paris PLE, but is currently scheduled for the PLE. They also report that the highly anticipated clash between Reigns and Seth Rollins is being saved for a future PPV.
Additionally, Reigns is also advertised for the August 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, which will serve as the go-home show for Clash in Paris.
Cody Rhodes’ heel turn

According to WrestleVotes Radio, any recent hints at a Cody Rhodes heel turn were simply meant to stir speculation among hardcore fans. WWE currently has no intention of turning him heel in the near future.
Ahead of the SummerSlam 2025, there were massive speculations from fans of Rhodes’ turning heel, especially when John Cena turned face in his segment on the go-home show of SmackDown. However, it seems like WWE doesn’t want to risk turning one of its biggest active stars heel.
WWE’s new PLE deal & Sol Ruca’s main roster chances
According to Wrestling Observer Live’s Bryan Alvarez, Peacock’s unsuccessful attempt to keep WWE’s premium live events was valued at around $275 million per year, while ESPN secured the rights with a winning bid of $325 million annually.
Alvarez also mentioned that at one stage, the Stamford-based promotion was considering the possibility of negotiating WrestleMania separately from the rest of its PLEs.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, current NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca’s impressive performances have caught the attention of several key figures with influence on the main roster. The report alos adds that a main roster call-up could be on the horizon for the rising star.
“We are told there are several people within WWE, some with direct influence on the main roster, who absolutely love Sol Ruca and think the world of her potential.”
Will Roman Reigns appear on Clash in Paris 2025?
Yes, Roman Reigns is currently planned for Clash in Paris 2025 and is also scheduled for August 18 and 25 episodes of Raw, in the lead-up to the PLE.
