Speculation and rumors are among the favorite pastimes of WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including advance ticket sales for WrestleMania 42, Seth Rollins’ return, AEW signing Bad Bunny, and more.
Advance ticket sales for WrestleMania 42

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio noted that there’s growing frustration within WWE over early ticket sales for WrestleMania 42. According to him, some of that frustration has turned into internal pushback toward Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, largely due to frequent creative changes.
Meltzer pushed back on the criticism, however, saying he still expects both nights of WrestleMania to sell out and suggesting that elevated ticket prices and a drop in international travel to the U.S. are far more significant reasons for the slower-than-expected sales so far.
On the topic of Mania, WrestleVotes reports that the promotion currently has plans in place for an El Grande Americano vs El Grande Americano matchup at Mania 2026, viewing the bout as a major potential money-maker.
Seth Rollins’ return & Chelsea Green’s injury

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that WWE is counting on Seth Rollins being ready for WrestleMania 42. Rollins has been out of action due to a shoulder injury, which he sustained during a match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel 2025.
The Observer also reported that Chelsea Green’s injury isn’t as serious as initially feared; what looked like a severe issue is actually just a bruise, not a broken ankle, so her recovery shouldn’t take long.
AEW signing Bad Bunny & Brock Lesnar not selling the chop at Rumble
Following U.S. Senator from Arizona, Ruben Gallego’s tweet urging AEW President Tony Khan to bring Bad Bunny to AEW, Bryan Alvarez dismissed the idea on Wrestling Observer Live, stating, “Bad Bunny is likely to return to WWE sooner rather than later, just so everyone is clear.”
Fightful Select reported that several wrestlers expressed exasperation over fans who seemed pleased that Brock Lesnar ignored Ilja Dragunov’s moves during the Royal Rumble.
“Multiple wrestlers sent us some eye rolling reactions at fans that were ‘happy’ that Brock Lesnar no sold Ilja Dragunov’s offense in the Royal Rumble.”
Giulia – Kiana James & TJ Perkins

WOR’s Dave Meltzer noted that, judging by Giulia and Kiana James’ spots in the Royal Rumble and on last Friday’s SmackDown, the promotion seems to be leaning toward the view that Kiana James has emerged as the bigger star.
PWInsider reports that TJ Perkins has returned to WWE’s Performance Center, potentially serving as a guest coach.
When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Is Bad Bunny signing with AEW?
No, following U.S.
